Effective from 03.03.2025Welcome to xoie.com. By booking our outdoor cinema hire or related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are in place to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience for everyone. Please read them carefully before placing your booking.To secure your booking, payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the invoice. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or any other method approved by xoie.com.Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your hire will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled booking are non-refundable. Rescheduling may be possible on a case-by-case basis, but is not guaranteed :Equipment, Setup, and Damage
All hire packages include setup and delivery of our outdoor cinema equipment, including but not limited to: the XGIMI projector, projection screen, picnic furniture, battery pack, rugs, floor couch, cushions, mosquito candles, and snack packs (depending on your selection). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the site is suitable for setup and has clear access.Our team will deliver, set up, and test the equipment before departure. Once setup is complete, the equipment becomes the responsibility of the client. Any damage, loss, or misuse of xoie.com equipment, including water damage, improper storage, or failure to supervise children or pets around the setup, may incur a replacement or repair fee, which will be invoiced separately.Usage Guidelines
Our outdoor cinema setups are designed for private, non-commercial use only. Public or ticketed screenings are not permitted under this hire agreement. Clients must adhere to local noise regulations and ensure respectful use of equipment, especially in shared residential spaces.Content displayed must comply with public decency and copyright regulations. No explicit, illegal, or unlicensed content may be shown. Alcohol may be consumed during your hire by adults over the legal drinking age. xoie.com is not responsible for any injury, incident, or liability resulting from alcohol consumption during the hire period.Safety and Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for maintaining a safe environment during the hire period. xoie.com accepts no liability for personal injury, property damage, or accidents that occur while the equipment is on-site. Children and pets must be supervised at all times, and care must be taken to prevent any interference with electrical items, cords, or screen structures.If you are supplying your own power (i.e. choosing not to use our battery pack), it is your responsibility to ensure the source is safe and compatible with the equipment provided.Weather and Force Majeure
xoie.com cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations due to extreme weather, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. In the case of unsuitable weather, we will reschedule your hire when available or offer a credit for future use, subject to availability.Post-Experience Feedback
Bookings made under our seasonal trial or promotional discount campaigns (e.g. Winter Trial) are provided at a reduced rate in exchange for a short post-hire feedback form. By booking under this offer, you agree to complete the feedback as part of your agreement.Privacy and Contact

A: Every setup starts with the essentials: projector (with built-in power pack), stand, Bluetooth speaker, insect repellents, rechargeable fairy lights, cushions and blankets, and a complimentary snack pack. Depending on your package, you might also get waterproof floor mats, bean bags, a screen, and more—all packed into a sleek XO-branded Yeti container.Q: Do I need Wi-Fi or power access?
A: Household power is recommended for the best screen brightness and stream quality. Most of our projectors include a built-in power pack for short runs, but if you’re off-grid or planning a longer night, you can add on an extra power pack during booking. For streaming, you’ll also need Wi-Fi—use your own or hire our Telstra dongle.Q: What streaming platforms can I use?
A: Most major ones—Netflix, Prime, Disney+, YouTube, Kayo, and more. Let us know your top two when booking and we’ll have them ready for login.Q: What if the weather turns bad?
A: We’ll happily reschedule or offer a partial refund. We’re about dreamy nights, not battling the wind.Q: Can I host XO.films in a public park or venue?
A: You’ll need to check with your local council—some public spaces require screening licenses or event permits. XO.films is best suited to private spaces like backyards, balconies, and courtyards, but we’re always open to creative ideas.Q: Is this just for couples?
